- Mastek adds a 150-200 seat Trichy hub to boost AI, data and Salesforce delivery with low-cost fresher talent.
Mastek is expanding its Trichy centre to house 150-200 professionals across Salesforce, Oracle, Data & AI and other digital services. The hub will also run college engagement programs like Deep Blue Sessions and AI sessions, plus community work via Mastek Foundation. It is a small, low-cost talent and delivery expansion that should modestly support growth over time.
- 28 Oct 2026Analysts/Institutional Investor Meet/Con. Call UpdatesMedium impactPositivePrice −4.9% so far todayQ2 revenue beat with 2.4% CC growth but margins dipped and backlog fell QoQ; AI-led US momentum supports better H2 and FY27.
Mastek reported Q2FY27 revenue of $107.3 million, up 2.4% sequentially in constant currency, and Rs 1,018.7 crore, up 3.4% sequentially and 8.3% yearly, with EBITDA at 14.4% down about 100 bps on salary hikes and ESOPs. The 12-month order backlog was $286.2 million, down 7.7% sequentially but up 2.3% yearly, with US backlog up 47.9% yearly while UK orders were delayed by government budget changes and Middle East remained uncertain. Management said FY27 should be better than FY26, targeting at least 160 bps margin recovery through AI-led productivity and expecting growth from AI transformation, Service-as-a-software and a large 100 million pound-plus NHS opportunity.
- Q2 revenue up 8.3% YoY and profit up 8.4% YoY with debt cut, despite margin dip and one-off write-offs.
Mastek reported Q2 FY27 consolidated revenue of Rs 1018.7 crore, up 8.3% from last year, and net profit of Rs 105.7 crore, up 8.4%, with first-half revenue of Rs 2003.9 crore. Profit included a Rs 47.3 crore gain from sale of Chennai property, partly offset by a Rs 25.9 crore bad-debt write-off and Rs 10.6 crore AI-led restructuring cost. The company repaid Rs 79.2 crore of long-term debt, cut finance costs, paid a Rs 16 per share dividend, and saw continued strength in UK and Europe.
- Mastek won a Staffordshire County Council Oracle Cloud transformation deal, adding modest near-term revenue and a strong UK public-sector reference.
Mastek (UK) Limited was selected by Staffordshire County Council, serving over 875,000 residents, to deliver an AI-enabled Oracle Cloud transformation covering Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll using its ADOPT-AI platform. The win followed a competitive procurement and will consolidate legacy systems into a single integrated platform. No contract value was disclosed, so the near-term financial uplift is likely modest but it strengthens Mastek's UK local-government footprint and Oracle Cloud reference base.
