Latest announcements
Exchange filings and their impact on the company.
- US FDA Goa inspection ends with just one observation, signalling no disruption.
Lupin said the US FDA inspected its Goa manufacturing facility from October 19-23, 2026 and closed the inspection with one observation in Form 483. The company said it will respond within the stipulated timeframe and remains committed to CGMP compliance. With only one observation, the outcome points to normal operations continuing with no major regulatory overhang.
- Lupin won US FDA approval for a $52.3m injectable, adding small high-margin US sales.
Lupin received US FDA approval for its generic Phytonadione Injectable Emulsion USP, 1 mg/0.5 mL single-dose prefilled syringe for low blood clotting and vitamin K deficiency. The product was bioequivalent to the reference drug of International Medication Systems. The US market is about USD 52.3 million per IQVIA MAT August 2026, so the launch should add a small, likely high-margin contribution to US sales over the next year.
- Lupin launched the world's first fixed-dose triple-combination COPD inhaler, strengthening its India respiratory franchise.
Lupin launched Formoflo-G MDI, described as the world's first fixed-dose triple combination inhaler for COPD management. The press release dated October 6, 2026 did not disclose pricing or sales targets. The launch strengthens Lupin's core respiratory portfolio in India and should contribute incremental high-margin domestic sales over the next 12 months, though the scale is small relative to Lupin's ~Rs 30,000 crore revenue base.
