8 MWp captive solar goes live, trimming power costs with tiny Rs 2.6 cr outlay.

GRP Limited has commenced commercial generation from 8 MWp of solar plants (2 x 4 MWp) at Ankleshwar and Panoli in Gujarat from October 19, 2026. The company disclosed an investment of Rs 2.60 crore funded in cash for 25 years of generation to supply its Gujarat manufacturing units at a preferential tariff. This captive green power should modestly reduce energy costs and support margins, though the scale is small versus its Rs 535 crore FY26 revenue.
