- JK Tyre to set up Rs 1.05 cr Dubai trading subsidiary; immaterial for near-term financials.
JK Tyre's board on 23 October 2026 approved investment of up to AED 400,000, about Rs 1.05 crore, to set up a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, UAE. The new company, to be called JK Global Trading FZ Co., will trade in automotive tyres, tubes, flaps and related products. The outlay is very small compared to JK Tyre's size, so it is not expected to move sales or profits in the next year, but it creates a base for Middle East trading.

JK Tyre reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of Rs 4,841 crore in Q2FY27, up 21% year-on-year, led by 32% growth in domestic sales and 65% growth in OE volumes after GST 2.0. Consolidated EBITDA was Rs 343 crore, up 28% sequentially but with margin at about 7.1% hit by high input costs and freight rates, while profit before tax fell to Rs 94 crore from Rs 304 crore a year ago. Mexico subsidiary Tornel rebounded to Rs 479 crore revenue. Management said demand traction remains healthy and it is focused on profitable growth.
