Vedanta Power Limited is an India-based power producing company. The Company operates Talwandi Sabo Thermal Plant, Meenakshi Energy Limited, Sakti Thermal Plant, and Jharsuguda Thermal Plant. Talwandi Sabo Thermal Plant is a 1,980 megawatt (MW) super-critical coal-based thermal power plant located at Banawala in Mansa district, Punjab. The plant supplies 100% of its generated power to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited. The plant operates three 660 MW generating units. Meenakshi Energy Limited is a 1,000 MW coal-based thermal power plant located at Thamminapatnam in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh. Sakti Thermal Plant is a 1,200 MW coal-based thermal power facility located in Sakti district, Chhattisgarh. The plant comprises two units of 600 MW each. Jharsuguda Thermal Plant is a 600 MW coal-based thermal power facility located in Jharsuguda district, Odisha.
