- Swordfish fixed and back on hire same day, avoiding any material revenue loss.
Seamec said its vessel SEAMEC Swordfish is back on hire from 24 October 2026 at 16:27 hrs KSA time after fixing a technical defect. This follows an off-hire notice on the same day, 24 October 2026. With downtime of less than a day, charter earnings resume normally with no material loss.
- Swordfish vessel breakdown puts it off-hire, risking ~Rs 8-20 cr near-term revenue loss.
Seamec said its vessel SEAMEC SWORDFISH was taken off-hire from 06:30 hrs (KSA) on 24 October 2026 due to a technical breakdown. The company said repairs are being done on priority and resumption will be informed later. With one vessel out of service, charter revenue will be hit for the repair period plus repair costs until it returns to work.
- Seamec won a ~Rs 484 cr ($55m) 1,225-day charter for SEAMEC ANANT for ONGC work via promoter HAL, adding ~14% to annual revenue.
Seamec has signed a contract on October 21, 2026 with promoter HAL Offshore for charter hire of vessel SEAMEC ANANT for ONGC IMR jobs. The charter is for about 1,225 days with a total value of about USD 55 million (about Rs 484 crore) excluding GST, subject to HAL's agreement with ONGC. This secures deployment for over three years and adds material multi-year revenue visibility, disclosed as an arm's-length related-party transaction.
- Seamec added vessel SEAMEC ANANT to its fleet, lifting revenue capacity by ~15% over the next year.
Seamec Limited took over the vessel SEAMEC ANANT from HAL Offshore Limited at Kakinada on 14 October 2026 at 13:10 hours. This completes the purchase process first disclosed on 21 July 2026 and updated on 31 August 2026. The additional vessel expands Seamec's operating offshore fleet and should start contributing to charter revenue, with earnings partly offset by depreciation and debt funding for the purchase.
- SEAMEC PRINCESS finished drydock and is back available for charter, restoring revenue.
Seamec Limited informed that its vessel SEAMEC PRINCESS completed statutory drydocking on 9 October 2026 at 19:13 hrs. The vessel is now available for deployment after being off-hire for maintenance. This restores fleet earning capacity and should modestly support revenue and profit over the next 12 months.
