Latest announcements
Exchange filings and their impact on the company.
- NCLT approved merger of dormant wholly-owned Rujuvalika into Tata Steel with no new shares and only ~0.09% accretion.
Tata Steel received on October 15, 2026 the certified NCLT Mumbai order dated October 1, 2026 sanctioning amalgamation of its wholly-owned subsidiary Rujuvalika Investments Limited into itself with appointed date April 1, 2023. No new shares or cash will be issued; Rujuvalika shares and its ~1.17 crore Tata Steel shares will be cancelled and its NBFC licence surrendered. The move simplifies the group and saves administration and compliance costs, with negligible financial impact given Rujuvalika has no active operations.
- Q2FY27 provisional volumes update with no disclosed figures implies steady operations.
Tata Steel filed a press release on October 7, 2026 titled Tata Steel: 2QFY2027 Production and Delivery Volumes (Provisional). The extracted filing contains only the cover letter and title with no production or delivery figures disclosed. The update therefore confirms routine quarterly disclosure with no quantifiable change to the near-term outlook.
