- Allotted 24.4 lakh shares at Rs 293 to raise Rs 71.5 cr, lifting net worth ~9% with only ~1.2% dilution.
On October 16, 2026, Standard Engineering Technology allotted 24,39,750 equity shares of Rs 10 face value at Rs 293 per share, raising Rs 71.48 crore on a preferential basis to non-promoter investors. The allotment followed shareholder approval on August 10, 2026 and in-principle approvals from BSE and NSE on October 1, 2026. The new shares rank pari passu with existing shares and will add about 9% to net worth with only about 1.2% dilution, providing funds for growth.
- Company admits GScale facility is only partly leased and 486 MW track record belongs to founder, not GScale.
Standard Engineering clarified to NSE on its GScale Energy acquisition that the 4 lakh sq ft site is leasehold, with only about 2.73 lakh sq ft sub-leased since July 16, 2026 and the balance 1.7 lakh sq ft expected by February 2027. It also said the 486 MW delivered and 1 GW+ under execution refers to founder Kasu Brahma Reddy and team in prior roles, not to GScale which was incorporated on May 15, 2026. This tempers the growth narrative for the new AI-datacentre subsidiary and points to a delayed ramp and credibility overhang.
