Sigma Advanced Systems secured a US$19.7 million (approx Rs174 crore) order from a North American NATO customer for specialised ancillary subsystems for 155mm artillery ammunition, to be manufactured in its ecosystem and executed by Q2 2027. It is Sigma's fifth 155mm engagement since May 2026, after filled fuzes, M107 and base-bleed shell bodies and a course-correction fuze MoU, broadening it beyond shell bodies and fuzes. The order adds about 20% of TTM sales and supports its move toward integrated ammunition manufacturing for global rearmament demand.
- Sigma signed an exclusive MoU with Munitions India to localise 155mm course-correction fuze technology.
Sigma Advanced Systems has signed an exclusive MoU with Munitions India Limited to bring its 155mm artillery course-correction fuze technology to India. The plan covers technology transfer, qualification, local manufacturing and integration of the guidance kits for precision artillery ammunition. It is an early-stage collaboration with no order value disclosed, so near-term financial impact is small but it positions Sigma higher up the defence value chain in line with Make in India.
