Latest announcements
Exchange filings and their impact on the company.
- LIC launched an annuity and two health plans to drive small incremental premium growth.
LIC will start selling three new domestic products from October 19, 2026: LIC's New Jeevan Dhara-II, a non-par deferred annuity savings plan, and LIC's Health Shield and LIC's New Cancer Cover, both non-par health pure-risk plans. Product launches are routine for LIC but broaden its annuity and health offering. The incremental premium over the next 12 months is likely small relative to LIC's near Rs 9.8 lakh crore annual income, so the near-term financial impact is modestly positive.
