KEI won partial relief in its FY18 GST case, leaving a Rs 4.5 cr demand it will appeal further.

KEI Industries said the GST Commissioner (Appeals) in Noida has reduced its 2017-18 GST demand following the company's appeal. The revised order retains a demand of Rs 2.23 crore plus an equal penalty of Rs 2.23 crore on road restoration charges, while setting aside claims on excess input tax credit and interest on delayed billing.
