Dreamfolks Services received a favourable order on October 14, 2026 from the CGST Appeals Commissioner in Mumbai setting aside a GST demand from August 2024. The demand was for Rs 1.35 crore plus interest and a Rs 0.14 crore penalty over alleged wrong input tax credit for 2019-20 due to GSTR-3B vs GSTR-2A mismatch. The ruling removes this contingent liability and avoids a cash outflow of about Rs 1.49 crore plus interest, a small positive for earnings.
- DreamFolks opens its first owned luxury wilderness club with golf and 37 cottages, a small but strategic diversification.
DreamFolks Services launched DreamFolks Club Nagavalli Wilderness Estate on October 11, 2026, a members-only private club on the Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border in the Eastern Ghats. Spread over about 30 acres including a 25-acre golf course, it has 37 cottages, a spa, pool, multicuisine restaurant and a 50-75 guest hall. It marks DreamFolks first owned luxury destination beyond its airport lounge network, offering golf, adventure, tribal culture and regional cuisine, with only a small revenue contribution expected in the first year of ramp-up.
- 10 Oct 2026Pendency of Litigation(s)/dispute(s) or the outcome impacting the CompanyLow impactNegativePrice +3.4% on 12 OctRs 1.58 cr GST tax-plus-penalty notice plus interest is small at 0.3% of sales but ~18% of FY26 profit in worst case.
Dreamfolks received a GST Demand cum Show Cause Notice on 9 Oct 2026 for FY22 for Rs 78.87 lakh tax plus Rs 78.87 lakh penalty, totalling Rs 1.58 crore plus interest, over input tax credit on invoices from a supplier whose registration was cancelled retrospectively. The company says the supplier had deposited the GST and it sees no immediate material impact and will file a reply. If sustained, the all-in exposure with interest is about Rs 2.2 crore, small versus sales but meaningful versus last year's Rs 12 crore profit.
