Latest announcements
Exchange filings and their impact on the company.
- Crompton launched Rs 2,999 3-in-1 Ameo Chop'N'Peel to expand small kitchen range; negligible near-term financial impact.
Crompton launched the Ameo Chop'N'Peel, an all-in-one peeling, chopping and whisking appliance with 300W motor and 800ml bowl. It is priced at Rs 2,999 with 2-year warranty and sold via retail and e-commerce. The launch expands Crompton's small kitchen portfolio but is too small to materially change revenue or profit in the next year.
- Crompton posted 23% revenue and 65% profit growth in Q2 with strength across all three segments.
Crompton's board approved unaudited results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026. Q2 revenue rose 23% to Rs 2,363 crore and net profit rose 65% to Rs 124 crore, with growth in Electric Consumer Durables, Lighting and Butterfly; half-year profit was Rs 267 crore. The board also appointed Ms. Aruna Arulsingh as Head-Legal and Company Secretary and Mr. Dipalok Choudhary as Head-Internal Audit, which have no financial impact.
- Two small product launches add incremental range depth but no material near-term earnings impact.
Crompton announced two products: the InstaNourish Pro 1.2-litre multi-purpose kettle priced at Rs 2,700 MRP for searing, steaming and boiling, and the INTELLISENSE SmartPro wireless water level controller with LoRa connectivity and app control for single-phase pumps up to 2 HP. It also launched an AI-powered Durga Puja digital film to promote its pumps ecosystem. The launches strengthen its small kitchen appliances and smart pumps range ahead of the festive season but are too small to move overall revenue materially in the next 12 months.
