Latest announcements
Exchange filings and their impact on the company.
- Jute Commissioner raised ex-factory prices for government sacking bags, lifting Cheviot's realisation on notified-period supplies.
Cheviot said the Jute Commissioner has revised upward the maximum ex-factory prices for 580gm B-Twill sacking Type-A and Type-B bags supplied to State Procurement Agencies for the period in the 16 Oct 2026 gazette notifications. All other order terms are unchanged. The company said the uplift on its supplies in that period exceeds its Regulation 30 materiality threshold, so it disclosed the revision on 22 Oct 2026 after accessing the gazette post holidays. This means slightly higher realisation and profit on those government supplies.
