- 21 Oct 2026Analysts/Institutional Investor Meet/Con. Call UpdatesHigh impactVery positivePrice −3.2% that dayRecord funding book and 58% PAT jump confirm operating leverage with 45% margin guidance intact.
Angel One filed the transcript of its Q2 FY27 earnings call held on October 16, 2026. Revenue was Rs 14.3 billion up 18.9% YoY and PAT was Rs 3.35 billion up 58% YoY, with standalone operating margin at 48.9% above its 40-45% range. Management highlighted a lifetime-high average client funding book of Rs 74.5 billion, 40 million clients, wealth AUM of Rs 160 billion and record credit distribution, and guided to around 45% standalone margins annually.
- Angel One approved Q2/H1 FY27 results and declared a Rs 1.40 second interim dividend.
Angel One's board on October 15, 2026 approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026. It also declared a second interim dividend for FY27 of Rs 1.40 per Re 1 share, with record date October 22, 2026 and payment on or before November 14, 2026. The payout of about Rs 127 crore is a modest cash return and does not change the operating outlook.
- Record funding book and steady F&O share offset soft orders and slower client adds, pointing to modest growth ahead.
Angel One reported September and Q2 FY27 operating numbers with client base at 39.98 million, up 17.3% year-on-year, and average client funding book at a record Rs 78.71 billion in September, up 41.7%. Q2 orders were up 1.7% year-on-year but down 9.8% sequentially, while cash market share slipped and commodity turnover doubled year-on-year but share fell as the market expanded. The strong funding book and steady equity-derivatives share should support modest revenue and profit growth over the next year, funded by higher borrowings.
